Doug Peacock's story of how immersion experiences in wilderness, creation of sacred spaces, symbols, and rituals helped him recover from the trauma of the Vietnam War is both moving and foundational to the growing movement of outdoor recreation for returning warriors.  This book talk kicks off the important 1st annual conference on outdoor recreation for returning veterans, called "This Land Is Your Land
